Identification problems for Boolean networks and Boolean control networks

چکیده
In this paper we address various forms of identification problems for Boolean networks (BNs) and for Boolean control networks (BCNs). For the former, we assume to have a set of infinite or finite support output trajectories and we want to identify a BN compatible with those trajectories. Conditions for the identified BN to coincide (up to a relabeling) with the original BN are provided. For BCNs, the problem of identifying a BCN compatible with a given family of corresponding finite support input/output trajectories is explored.

On Boolean Control Networks -- an Algebraic Approach
Boolean network is a powerful tool in describing the genetic regulatory networks. Accompanying the development of systems biology, the analysis and control of Boolean networks have attracted much attention from biologists, physicists, and systems scientists. This paper surveys a series of recent results on Boolean (control) networks, obtained by the algebraic approach proposed by the authors. F...

Controllability, Stabilization, and Synchronization Problems on Boolean Control Networks. Abstract In this talk, we will introduce the semi-tensor product of matrices, based on which, Boolean networks can be expressed in algebraic forms. Some basic results and new conclusions will be presented on the controllability, stabilization, and partial and complete synchronization of Boolean control net...

متن کاملA Pontryagin Maximum Principle for Multi–Input Boolean Control Networks⋆
A Boolean network consists of a set of Boolean variables whose state is determined by other variables in the network. Boolean networks have been studied extensively as models for simple artificial neural networks. Recently, Boolean networks gained considerable interest as models for biological systems composed of elements that can be in one of two possible states. Examples include genetic regul...
متن کاملA Computational Model for Simulating Continuous Time Boolean Networks
Random Boolean networks are among the most popular model systems used for modelling the gene regulatory networks due to their answering of the many biological questions in a realistic way, insights into the overall behavior of large genetic networks and suitability for inference. However, discrete time Boolean networks have serious limitations in simulating non-repeating complex dynamic systems...
